I trust you are all having an amazing summer! I know it's been a while since I've sent something to your inbox. To be honest, I took a little time away from social media -- my blog included. Instead, we have been spending time outdoors as a family; golfing and paddle boarding. I have always enjoyed being on the water, but I am ready to declare that the water really is my happy place.
Being out on the water is very calming and soothing for me. When combined with paddle boarding, I can honestly lose track of time.
What activity makes you lose track of time? Are you doing enough of it?
Speaking of losing track of time, I just finished reading a great book: "You are a Badass". Have you read it? If you are looking to make a change, but somehow find yourself getting stuck and doing the same old thing, I would highly recommend it.
You see, I was feeling stuck in my business. I just didn't know what direction I should be taking it. This book helped me get some clarity. I realized 3 things:
1. I love cooking -- I could spend hours in the kitchen
2. I like offering workshops
3. I am passionate about healthy food and helping people get back in their kitchens.
I have decided to focus on offering my signature workshop: The Kitchen Party.
Have you and your friends been trying to plan a night out, but don't want to spend the night at a bar or a club?
Has your workplace been looking for a fun staff team building event?
Maybe your best friend is getting married and you want to doing something fun and unique for a bachelorette party.
The Kitchen Party is your answer.
All you need is a kitchen... I bring all the food and recipes.
Each party is about 3 hours of hands-on cooking. You get to eat all the food that is prepared and you go home with all the recipes.
There are 8 different classes to choose from. All the details are right over here.
I look forward to helping you plan your party soon!
On another note, I plan to start a series on my blog that features seasonal ingredients. I will tell you all the goodness that each ingedient has to offer and then give you a few recipes that will get you using that ingredient.
If you have any particular favorites that you would like to learn more about or different ways to use them, please reach out. I would love to hear from you!
